I don’t usually write reviews, but I had an absolutely AMAZING experience at Water Street Central Kitchen this afternoon. I had the Front Porch toast and it was one of the freshest, most delicious restauraunt items I have ever had. Me and my partner shared the Banana Nutella muffin and that was phenomenal as well. On top of this, the service was incredible. The lady at the register was so sweet and gave us recommendations, another worker came to ask how our food was and took plates out of our way (typical service), however went above and beyond to offer recommendations for our next visit and really tried to connect with customers. I would HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone who lives in or is visiting Corpus!

Wonderful spot! I almost don't want to leave this review, so it doesn't get too crowded! lol Super nice people, wonderful food! I had the Yardbird sandwich with bacon, AMAZING! I like a little extra vinaigrette on mine. ;) I can't remember the name of the sandwich my wife got, but it's open-faced with an over easy egg on it and super yummy, too (I tried it).

Grabbed a quick bite at this cozy cafe. The moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile and excellent customer service. Our food selections were exquisitely filling and delicious. Had the cafe au lait and freshly squeezed orange juice, and sure enough they didn’t disappoint us at all. Looking forward to try their pastries tomorrow since they looked divine.

Went Sunday afternoon for a daddy daughter date. She had the yard bird and I got the golden bell. Large portions for the price. The golden bell was really good, my daughter said it reminded her of sushi. Both sandwiches were awesome. I picked up a loaf of sourdough bread for my wife, day old is $6 and fresh is $12. We split a key lime pie, it was not overly sweet, but was very good. Definitely recommend for a good sandwich. Also they have a self serve coffee bar, so you can make it like you want.

Visited for brunch. In summary, we loved the pastries and the bread, however, we didn’t care for the brunch meal options as much. For the future, we would come here just for the pastries and not a meal. Details: Tried both chicken salads by asking for a sample (garden would have been great if it wasn’t so dry), tried the BLAT with an egg added (only poached eggs are available here), tried the off menu avocado toast with an egg added, and we tried pastries. We liked all of the pastries in general, in order of favorite: the muffin (banana nutella), the cinnamon roll (very sweet), and the cranberry/orange scone. Also tried the fresh squeezed OJ, that was good. We had some mix ups with the service. Manager came by and fixed it
